Vuokatti Sport is a versatile and year-round Sport Institute and a hotel and resort in Kainuu. It is located in the scenic scenery of Vuokatti, on the shore of a lovely fresh water pond Särkinen.
Vuokatti Sports Institute was founded in 1945 and since its establishment it has been responsible for the Finnish cross country skiing education and a provider of know-how of snow sports on the elite level. World-class conditions on the trails and routes, as well as in indoor sports venues, guarantee a memorable experience for all, whether you are a nature-loving tourist, an fitness enthusiast or an aspiring top athlete. Regular buses run to Vuokatti Sport from Kajaani and Kajaani railway station. The bus stop is at the crossing of Vuokatinhovintie, 200 meters from the hotel reception. The airport shuttle bus from Kajaani Airport stops in front of Vuokatti Sport's main building.
In the winter season, tourists are served in the Vuokatti-Sotkamo area by the free VuokattiBus, which stops at Vuokatinhovintie, in the immediate vicinity of Vuokatti Sport.
