The HOTEL SCHANDL is located in the heart of the historic old town at Rathausplatz 7 - for almost a century, the listed and ensemble-protected building, which has its roots at the end of the 17ts century, has been run by a guest and hotel business. In the spring 2012, the hosts Barbara Schandl and Alfred Grasits comprehensively modernised and rebuilt it - preserving the old and harmoniously integrating the new.
Noble fabrics, earthy clolours and natural materials meet not only in the 19 guest rooms (3 single, 11 double and 2 family triple rooms as well as 2 junior suites and 1 suit). Seminars or workshops can be held in the semnar area at ground level, which can accommodate up to 14 people - if you arrive by bicycle or rent a bicycle (direct connection to the cycle path network), it can be safely stored in the bicycle room!
Lived hospitality, regional culinary delights, unique natural landscapes as well as the several times nationally and internationally awarded Rust wine culture are only a few mouse clicks away for you: Simple send a non-binding inquiry at any time and you will receive your personal offer within only few minutes of course with the guaranteed best price - as soon as this was accepted, the booking will be confirmed as quickly as possible! Then you are a guest in the heart of the historic old town of Rust and oly 168 steps from the Peter Schandl wine tavern and only 118 steps from the Peter Schandl winery, which can look back on a long family traditon in viticulture since 1741!
We are looking forward to your visit!
Barbara Schandl. Alfred Grasits.
