Schönbachhof is the meeting point for pleasure vacationers, whether as riders with or without their own horses, as bikers, or simply as leisure travelers, hikers, and connoisseurs. As an additionally certified riding and hiking station and mountain biking-friendly establishment, we show you the most beautiful viewpoints and trails in our Palatinate Forest, away from the usual tours and paths, individually tailored and planned according to your wishes. To this end, we can provide you with individual tours via GPX data. It is also possible to rent our guest outdoor navigation device preloaded with your customized route.

Relax in the special ambiance of our lovingly furnished guest rooms in English country house style and in our picturesque garden. All guests have access to our breakfast room with a large exquisite breakfast and our two-zone wine cooler stocked with fine Palatinate wines and other beverages.

Or, if you have the appropriate riding skills, explore the incomparable Biosphere Reserve Palatinate Forest and Dahner Felsenland on the backs of our well-trained horses, under the knowledgeable guidance of a certified mounted nature guide and riding instructor (FN), with all the castles and bizarre sandstone rocks. Beginners and advanced riders have the opportunity to take professional riding lessons in the traditional Californian Western riding style. Your dog is also very welcome. For him, we have blankets, dog bowls, and special towels available upon request as a service, so he feels as comfortable as you do.
