The Swabian Alb Association owns 28 observation towers. Near Creglingen in the north-east of the association's territory, the Lichteler Landturm offers an overview of the fields of the eastern Hohenlohe plain, the Lupfenturm on the south-western Alb forms the south-western cornerstone and the southernmost tower is the Schwarze-Grat-Turm near Isny. Fantastic views are possible from the towers, be it over the lowlands from the Eselsburgtum in Stromberg or to the Alpine chain from the Raichberg tower near Onstmettingen. Members of the Albverein have free access.
