Mountain Hut · Bavarian Prealps
Tutzinger Hut
Welcome to the Tutzinger Hütte at the foot of the Benediktenwand Far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, our guests enjoy home-made delicacies in the Tutzinger Hütte. Our hut offers 91 comfortable beds, hot showers, a drying room and a seminar room. Open from the end of April to the end of October (not open in winter). Our hut is part of the campaign With children in hutsan initiative of the Alpine associations in Germany, Austria and South Tyrol for family-friendly huts. It is suitable for children from 7-8 years and older. The adventure areas for children range from streams, pools and springs to climbing and bouldering to ibexes and chamois. We have compiled all the important information for your visit here. Each rider has further details about the facilities, how to get there and access as well as tour suggestions. Tölzer hut
Our hut sits enthroned on the saddle between Schafreuter and Delpsjoch with great views. The refuge is located on Tyrolean territory and was built in 1922 by the Tölz section of the German Alpine Club. We, Andrea and Benno, have been your hosts since May 2023. Depending on snow conditions, we are open for you from mid-May to mid-October. Your hosts Andrea & Benno

Pforzheim hut
Welcome to the Pforzheimer Hütte of the Pforzheim section! We have compiled all the important information for your visit here. Each tab contains further details about the facilities, how to get here and how to get there, as well as tour suggestions. However, if you have any further questions, please contact us directly. If you are planning to stay at the hut with dogs, please contact us in advance to clarify this Current: You can find our current opening hours in the online hut reservation to see them. We are usually open from mid-February to mid-April and from the end of June to the end of September. Please note: We cannot provide sleeping places without prior reservation. Hello dear mountain friends! Nora Rosche and Sarah Doleski and their team await you in a cozy atmosphere. We cook as regionally as possible. This is how the mountains taste. Let us spoil you with Tyrolean specialties, homemade cakes and a rich breakfast buffet. So you can enjoy the huts on the sun terrace or in the warm room with a cool drink or a hot tea. The Sellrain is known for its extensive ski and snowshoe tours in winter. While the Kühtai ski area is bustling with activity, here you will find peace and solitude. The ideal terrain with many untouched slopes and beautiful mountain trails can be found here in the summer and winter months. In summer, it is an ideal place to escape the heat and pollen in the valley. Wild streams flow around the Berghaus. The mountain pastures in summer are covered with large fields of alpine roses in June / July. Here, children can play in nature and move freely. Our hut is part of the campaign Mit Kindern auf Hütten, an initiative of the Alpine associations in Germany, Austria and South Tyrol for family-friendly huts. It is suitable for children aged 7 and over. Our adventure areas are: clear mountain streams and lakes; marmots, chamois, sometimes eagles; small climbing rocks around the hut; slackline and hammocks You can book us at any time via the hut online reservation portal. Short-term requests by e-mail possible. In recent years we have converted our mountain hut to use renewable energy in winter and summer. We have also integrated a sewage treatment plant with biological clarification, which complies with the strict regulations of the Tyrolean Environmental Protection Act. Taschach House
Welcome to the Taschachhaus! The Taschachhaus is located in the Ötztal Alps at 2,434 m at the northern foot of the Urkundkopf in the rear Pitztal, 30 minutes' walk from the Taschachferner and surrounded by numerous three-thousand-meter peaks. The generally accessible, managed hut (category I) of the Munich section was built in 1873/74, rebuilt in 1898/99 and most recently thoroughly modernized and partially extended in 2005-2008. As a DAV training base, the Taschachhaus offers ideal conditions for alpine mountaineering, ice tours, basic and advanced training, expedition preparation, but also very beautiful one-day and multi-day hiking opportunities in an impressive landscape. Several seminar and group rooms, an indoor climbing facility, comfortable room units, hot showers and a perfect kitchen - what more could a mountaineer's heart want? With just a 2.5 - 3 hour ascent via the valley trail, the hut is also very popular with vacation guests in the Pitztal as a day tour. The view from the hut terrace of the surrounding peaks and glaciers is also uniquely beautiful and the Fuldaer Höhenweg offers a very scenic and alpine alternative for the ascent or descent from the hut back to Mandarfen. The hut has become particularly famous for its excellent cuisine - no guest leaves the hut without explicitly praising the food and leaving the hut much heavier than they intended ;-))) The Taschachhaus is also the base for the 4-day"Pitztaltour" and the "Pitztaler Runde", both tour tips for multi-day hikes from hut to hut. We have compiled the essential information for your visit below. Each rider has further details about the facilities, how to get there and access as well as tour suggestions. If you still have further questions, then take a look at www.taschachhaus.de - there is a wealth of information about the hut, the surrounding area and tour options.
