The Alpine Club's shelter is located at 1743 m above sea level at the summit of Hochwechsel and offers a breathtaking view over the Joglland-Waldheimat region and far beyond. The chapel and the summit cross are also something very special and attract many visitors each year.
Overnight stays are possible from Thursday to including Sunday (opening hours do not apply to overnight guests)
The Wetterkoglerhaus can be reached by car via a toll road (toll fee: € 5.00).
Dog owners and their dogs are very well accommodated in the restaurant area "Veranda." Water bowl, food bowl, and muzzle are gladly provided. Dog food available upon request.
