Unweit der Bergstation der Gondelbahn am Hündle finden Wanderer und Mountainbiker die Sennalpe Oberhündle auf einer bequemen und kurzen Wanderung.
Auf der Alpe leben neben 25 Milchkühen auch einige Stück Jungvieh. In der Saison verarbeiten die Hüttenwirte etwa 50.000 l Milch zu Käse und frischer Butter. Auf eine Brotzeit auf der Alpe Oberhündle sollte daher nicht verzichtet werden, zumal die Alpe ein perfekter Ausgangspunkt für einen etwa 45 min langen Fußmarsch auf den Gipfel des Hündle ist. Auf der Rückkehr belohnt der Ausblick von der Sonnenterrasse die müden Wanderer.
