Through Blaichach's districts

At Blaichach station, start this bike tour and ride along Burgberger Straße to the beer garden & steakhouse Zur Schießstätte. Here you reach the graveled Iller bike path, which you follow southbound (Sonthofen). At the Marienbrücke bridge, keep right and ride Illerstraße to Bihlerdorf. At the restaurant Schiff, continue across the parking lot (Illerstraße) and then turn left onto Dorfstraße. Cycle further to Seifriedsberg, and via the districts Kühberg and Halden, it goes steadily uphill to Gunzesried. Turn around now and then and enjoy the beautiful view of Grünten and other Allgäu mountain peaks. When you arrive a bit exhausted in Gunzesried after the climb, you can take a break and treat yourself to homemade ice cream from the Bergsennerei Gunzesried. Or you can visit the St. Nikolaus Chapel and the herb garden. Follow the paved road past Café Zenzimilia further uphill to Reute. From there, it continues past the Bildkapelle  downhill to Ettensberg. Turn left onto Schwandener Straße and then left again towards Schwanden. Ride through the district of Schwanden with its beautiful old farmhouses. Downhill it goes through the Altmummen district. At the intersection, continue rolling down the street to the left. Cross Blaichacher Straße and turn left onto the bike path to Immenstadt, at the first roundabout right, and at the second roundabout right again. This leads you to Inselsee with water ski lifts, Aqua Park, and Aqua Chimp. Here a stop at the café or beer garden is recommended. Afterwards, continue on the graveled Iller bike path to Schießstätte. Keep right and follow Burgberger Straße back to the starting point.
