Die Seetalerhütte liegt auf 1550 m Seehöhe mitten im Schi- und Wandergebiet Klippitztörl an der Klippitztörl Landesstraße, welche das Lavanttal mit dem Görtschitztal verbindet.
Die Seetalerhütte befindet sich direkt gegenüber des Zweiersesselliftes – Talstation.
