Unsere Hütte ist Teil der Kampagne Mit Kindern auf Hütten, eine Initiative der Alpenvereine in Deutschland, Österreich und Südtirol für familienfreundliche Hütten. Sie eignet sich für Kinder ab dem Babyalter. Unsere Erlebnisbereiche sind: Spielplatz mit Kneippanlage für Groß und Klein; Grillplatz mit Lagerfeuer; Naturlehrpfad Unterer Grund mit Hängebrücke und Aussichtsplattform beim Wasserfall. Im Winter: Kinderschlepplift und Förderband gratis in 300m Entfernung; leichtere Skitouren; Langlaufloipe; riesiges Skigebiet fast vor der Hütte
