Chata Magistrát sa nachádza v pohorí Lúčanskej Malej Fatre v lyžiarskom stredisku Martinské hole v nadmorskej výške 1230 m nad morom.

Chata je priamo v centre lyžiarskeho strediska. Parkovisko pre autá sa nachádza pred chatou. Jej poloha je ideálna na turistiku, cykloturistiku, rekreačne účely a vyznávačov zimných športov. Chata je pri zjazdovke šesťsedačkovej lanovke. Chata sa dá využiť aj na organizované stretnutia, tábory, individuálnu rekreáciu, lyžiarske, turistické zájazdy a spoločenské akcie. Od chaty sa dá vykonať veľké množstvo turistických výletov do okolia Malej Fatry po vyznačených trasách. Tak isto sa dajú využiť aj označené cykloturistické chodníky. V zimnom období je chata výhodná na využitie pre lyžiarov. Priamo pred chatou sa nachádza detský lyžiarsky vlek a lyžiarska škola. Bližšie informácie nájdete na www.martinky.com

V chate sa nachádza reštaurácia, kaviareň, lyžiareň a osobitná časť na ubytovanie. Ubytovacia časť má 40 postelí a možnosť prístelku.
