In the summer, the Gießenbachmühle snack bar combines relaxing moments with regional culinary delights. You can enjoy a leisurely break here amid the soothing murmur of the Gießenbach stream and against the impressive backdrop of the approximately 100-year-old railroad viaduct. Austrian specialties and regional snacks provide a delightful refreshment in the heart of the Strudengau countryside. Whether as a summer break during an outing, a meeting spot with friends, or a relaxed stop with the family: the unique location creates an atmospheric setting for guests of all ages. Dogs are also welcome. This makes the Gießenbachmühle an inviting resting spot for anyone who wants to combine nature, regional cuisine, and Upper Austrian hospitality.

Directions

Auf der Westautobahn (A1) bis zur Abfahrt Amstetten West und weiter nach Grein.

Sollten Sie mit dem Fahrrad anreisen, fahren Sie auf dem Donauradweg bis nach Grein.

Von Grein auf der B3 ca. 3 km am linken Donauufer Richtung Ybbs. An der linken Seite ist eine hohe, steinerne Eisenbahnbrücke und ein grünes Hinweisschild mit “Stillensteinklamm”.

Hier abbiegen und nach 50 m sind Sie bei der Jause.
