A mountain hut operated by the Austrian Alpine Club
The Haindlkarhütte is a mountain hut operated by the Austrian Alpine Club (Section Austria). It is located at the foot of the imposing north faces of the Hochtor Group at an elevation of 1,121 meters above sea level.
The scenic, approximately one-and-a-half-hour approach leads uphill through varied terrain and delights children and adults alike, while the picturesque and mystical surroundings make you forget any exertion.
Along the way, you’ll have the chance to refresh yourself with cold mountain spring water or relax in the shade of a boulder while enjoying the magnificent view of the Buchstein Group across the valley.
[Bn]At the hut, you can refuel for further hikes with regional delicacies lovingly prepared and enjoy the cozy atmosphere in and around the shelter.
[Bn]Hut owner Alexander Romich looks forward to welcoming you!
[Bn]There is currently a water shortage at the Haindlkarhütte, and operations are limited.
[Bn]The hut is closed on Mondays until further notice!
