Nach einer Wanderung in der herrlichen Natur erwartet Sie ein rustikal - gemütliches Gastzimmer, wo Sie sich ausrasten können. An kälteren Tagen ist es ganz besonders gemütlich beim Kachelofen beisammen zu sitzen. Die Hütte hat auch kulinarisch einiges zu bieten
Die Spezialität sind Forellen aus dem eigenen Gebirgsteich. Sie werden frisch gefangen und am alten Holzofen nach "Müllerin Art" zubereitet. Weiters bieten die Hüttenwirte Ihnen für den Großen und den kleinen Hunger zahlreiche Hüttenspeisen und Mehlspeisen. Ein besonderer Tipp ist der Kaiserschmarr´n, der nach Oma´s Rezept - am alten Holzofen - flaumig, goldbraun gebacken wird.
Das Falkerthaus ist sowohl für Weitwanderer als auch Tagesgäste geeignet. Sie befindet sich nahe eines Etappen-Starts (Magic Points) des Weitwanderweges Alpe-Adria-Trail. Die nock/art Routen St. Oswald-Bach-Wasserweg und -Alpinrunde sowie die Mallnock-Alpinrunde führen am Falkerthaus vorbei.
Die Hütte bietet Nächtigungsmöglichkeiten für ca. 20 Personen.
