Since 1932, the Dreiländereckhütte has been providing sporty "border crossers" with delicacies from the region and is considered a popular meeting point for hikers and visitors to the Three Country Corner. Innkeeper Marion Pucher entices with her topped breads.
Just a few minutes from the mountain station of the Dreiländereck cable car, you will find the Dreiländereckhütte on the Seltschacher Alm. Here, at the unique intersection of the Germanic, Slavic, and Romance cultures, a beautiful hiking area awaits guests in the summer and an idyllic family ski area in the winter, offering an extraordinary panoramic view of the neighboring mountains of Austria, Slovenia, and Italy. Boundless hiking is on the agenda here, with many of the hiking routes crossing all three countries that meet at the mountain.
As part of the autumn enjoyment program of the Erlebnis CARD, a guided hike from the Wurzenpass to the Dreiländereck and back, including a stop at the hut, draws visitors every Monday. With the Erlebnis CARD, the tour is, of course, free.
