Die Bonn-Matreier Hütte kann mit vielen Superlativen aufwarten:
Wie der Name schon verrät, wird die Bonn-Matreier Hütte Fifty-Fifty vom Alpenverein Bonn (Deutschland) und vom Alpenverein Matrei in Osttirol verwaltet. Das ist einzigartig in Europa.
Beim unglaublichen Panorama auf 2.750 Meter gerät man ins Staunen; sieht man doch von den Südtiroler Dolomiten, den Villgrater Bergen und den Lienzer Dolomiten über die Schoberguppe bis zum Triglav in Slowenien!
Die Bonn-Matreier Hütte liegt direkt am Venediger Höhenweg und ist damit perfekter Ausgangspunkt für zig Touren!
Trotz der hochalpinen Lage der Hütte, lässt es sich das Hüttenteam nicht nehmen - ihre Gäste kulinarisch auf höchstem Level zu verwöhnen!
Auch auf dem sonntäglichen Kirchgang muss man nicht verzichten: 2 Minuten von der Hütte entfernt liegt die höchstgelegene Kapelle der Ostalpen.
