Im Winter kommen Schneeschuhwanderer und Langläufer, die in unmittelbarer Nähe gespurte Loipen vorfinden. Marschiert man von der Hütte aus rund 80 Höhenmeter bergauf, hat man freie Sicht auf den Schneeberg. Noch ein paar Gehminuten weiter befindet sich ein Aussichtsturm, von dem aus man den Ausblick bis zum Neusiedlersee genießen kann.
Für Kinder ist der riesengroße, Kinderspielplatz ein Wildgehege und ein Streichelzoo des Naturparks in nur drei Minuten Gehzeit entfernt vorhanden. Die Eintrittspreise sind nicht inkludiert, es gilt die Tarifordnung des Naturparks.
