    Schöne, kleine Wanderung mit zu Anfang steilem Aufstieg durch den Wald. Der Mariafels mit seiner Betonoptik hat uns nicht so begeistert. Die weitere Wegstrecke auf Waldweg und Pfaden war schön. Blühende Wiesen und frischgrüne artenreiche Wälder. Unter der Woche waren alle Sitzplätze an den Felsen frei und wir genossen das Vesper und schöne Aussichten mit Ruhebänken, teilweise auch Picknickplätzen (Tisch mit Bänken). Am Wegrand fanden wir unverhofft Versteinerungen wie Muscheln, Belemniten und einen Ammoniten. Abstieg über angenehmen frisch gemähten Wiesenweg zurück zur alten Kirche.

    Schöne, kurze Tour, aber kein Spaziergang. Der Aufstieg hat es in sich. Der Weg führt durch lauschige Wälder und hat mit dem Uhufelsen einen tollen Ausblick. Auf der Hochfläche interessante Magerwiesen. An der Quelle sind wir leider vorbeigelaufen, vielleicht haben wir die Abzweigung nicht gesehen oder es ist nicht gut ausgeschildert. Beim Abstieg längere Passagen über Asphalt, dabei gibt es daneben einen netten Pfad über Wiesen.

    Schöne Runde! Geparkt haben wir unterhalb vom Friedhof am Ortsausgang. Die Quelle ist nicht direkt auf dem Weg, also darauf achten, dass man nicht vorbei läuft.

    Weg ist teilweise sehr mit Brennnessel zugewachsen, ansonsten sehr gut machbar mit Kind, 5 Jahre. Besuch der Grotte empfehlenswert.

    Nachdem ich gestern mein Wanderung über 320 km auf dem Hohenzollernweg, samt allen Nebenetappen, beendet habe, hier mein Fazit: Der Hohenzollernweg ist über weite Strecken ein wunderschöner Wanderweg mit einer unglaublichen Zahl von Sehenswürdigkeiten, Ausblicken und Eindrücken. Am besten gefallen haben mir (natürlich) das Donautal von Sigmaringen nach Beuron, die Etappe von Meßstetten nach Schömberg, die Etappe von Hechingen-Stein nach Killer mit der Burg Hohenzollern, die Nebenstrecke Sigmaringen nach Frohnstetten durch das Schmeietal, die Nebenstrecke von Albstadt nach Balingen sowie die Strecke von Sulz-Glatt nach Haigerloch. Der einzige Kritikpunkt für mich war die teilweise fehlende bzw. absolut unzulängliche Beschilderung des Wanderweges. Hier sollte sich ein Beispiel an der vorbildlichen Beschilderung der Etappe von Balingen nach Rosenfeld genommen werden. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Wanderweg, den ich gerne wieder einmal wandern werde.
