We hike into the heart of the High Tatras to the granite pyramid rising to 2428 meters on the main ridge of the range, among the largest peaks' circle. Our route is a well-maintained mountain trail, touching the mountain hotel of the Silesian House and the two valley lakes, and also the long-protected Wildflower Garden. It's a granite walk, a wildflower, marmot-whistling summit hike into the realm of the highest Carpathian peaks.

This peak-climbing tour ventures among peaks leading to one of the most beautiful viewpoints of the High Tatras. It is one of the Carpathians' most technical hiking trails, ascending from the glacier-carved valley basin to the ice- and storm-scarred ridge, but in exchange for the difficulties, it introduces us to a rare, wild, untamed rock world in the most spectacular and dramatic locations of the range. The Fehér-tavi Peak's extreme position offers a unique perspective on the High Tatras ridges and the forested, grassy mountain backs stretching below, and the Carpathians' far-reaching ranges.

The adventure and challenge-rich hike leads through one of the Carpathian wilderness's strictly protected core areas, in the central forest of the Káposztafalva Karst. The range's longest gorge, bounded by the walls of Róth Gorge, is crossed over numerous fallen logs throughout. At the turning point of the tour, alpine meadows fresh with wildflowers break the atmosphere of rocky gorge forests.

Our short excursion is like a postcard from the world of the High Tatras, as along this route we enjoy the picturesque rocky world of the mountains from the comfort of a distant observer, the waterfalls roaring at their base, the romantically atmospheric mountain huts, and the remnants of the once impenetrable spruce forest. It is an easy walk in the shade of wild rocky pastures, a taste of the jewels of the 'Crown of the Carpathians.'

A special type of trekking in the High Tatras is the mountain pass trekking: the most exciting routes in the mountains lead through crevasses in the rocky ridges, along paths secured with chains. One of the most fun ways to explore the rugged rocky landscape is to cross the Red Tower Passand explore the stepped rotating stage of glacial valleys hiding dwarf pine forests, waterfalls and sea stacks.

The easy hike to the Green Lake is very popular. The landscape is varied, impressive at the Green Lake due to the mountain backdrop, and with detours to the other lakes it is also exciting and appealing for children. The hut at the Green Lake is accordingly overcrowded on weekends and public holidays. The overnight accommodations are mostly fully booked.
