    Einsam, steil & nicht leicht zu finden. Die Tour ist schön, man trifft wirklich niemand. Die Landschaft ist grandios. Es sind 8 km & 900 mH zur Salzkofelhütte hin (3.40 h sind wir auf dem Hinweg gelaufen. 5 h Hin- & Rück als "einfache" Tagestour wie beschrieben ist sehr sportlich & sicher nicht leicht! Die Wegfindung ab der oberen Orteralm über den Grashang zum Übergang am Lackenbichl schwierig zu finden, wenn man es nicht kennt (in der Vertikalen von der Hütte eher links nach oben - Kennzeichnung eher mäßig). Nach dem Übergang im Abstieg Richtung SK Hütte gut gekennzeichnet. Die Tour ist sowohl hinauf als auch herunter zur SK Hütte steil & der Weg führt zT durch längere undurchsichtige Latschen- & Gestrüppbereiche, die anstrengend zu gehen sind, weil man nicht sieht, wo man hintritt. Hin- & Rücktour an einem Tag ist machbar, aber sportlich. Wir haben auf dem Hinweg den Salzkofel mitgenommen & übernachtet. Am nächsten Tag dann zurück (3 h). Trotzdem eine lohnenswerte Tour (GPS Track gut im Auge behalten).
