The Caminos Naturales run throughout Spain, both on the mainland and on islands such as La Palma, Tenerife, Fuerteventura, La Gomera, Lanzarote, Mallorca or Menorca. No matter which Camino Natural you choose, you can discover the diversity of Spain. Each long-distance hiking trail has its own special features.

But the various Vías Verdes - green paths - also allow you to immerse yourself in the nature of Spain. If you are on a Via Verde, you will be walking along former railway lines. Around 120 greenways lead you through the whole of Spain, from short to long.

Beautiful hikes on the Balearic and Canary Islands

In addition to the mainland, the Canary Islands and Balearic Islands also offer wonderful hikes. The highest peak in Spain is the island volcano Pico del Teide on Tenerife with a height of 3,718 metres. From there you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the Canary Islands and the Atlantic Ocean.

Pilgrimage on the Way of St James

The most famous hiking trail in Spain is the Camino de Santiago. The classic Camino Francés leads you from the Pyrenees through northern Spain to Santiago de Compostela. The hike is divided into several stages, covering a total of around 800 km.

    Très jolie randonnée sportive avec des panoramas exceptionnels. A un endroit si manquerait peut être une main courante sur la roche mais en dehors de ce court passage randonnée accessible malgré quelques panneaux indiquant des parcelles fermée. Je recommande.

    Der Hinweg bekommt mindestens 10 von 5 Sternen! Absolut traumhaft…festes rutschfestes Schuhwerk absolut empfehlenswert, streckenweise ist der Weg etwas schwieriger (die tollen Ausblicke wollen erarbeitet werden). Der Rückweg (zu Fuß) ist halt ein Rückweg 🤣🤷🏼‍♀️, aber ja nur ein kleiner Teil der Strecke. Mit Kindern ist eher die Straßenbahn als der Weg an der Straße sinnvoll.

    Sehr schöner Weg mit diversen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Großteils asphaltiert, aber wegen der reizvollen Umgebung trotzdem super. Tolle Aussicht vom Mirador oberhalb des Klosters. Alles gut begehbar. Einzig der Waldweg zur Cueva Santa ist etwas mühsamer und steiler.
