    Überwiegend schöne kleine Wald- und Wiesenwege. Nur am Ende muss man sich an einer Stelle selbst einen Weg suchen, da abgezäunt.

    Wir sind nur die Teilstrecke vom Haslhof (Gasthof Hasl) bis zur Göflaner Alm gelaufen und von dort den gleichen Weg zurück. Im Tal lagen die Temperaturen bei 26°C und drüber (Meran 33°C), hier oben war es angenehm frisch und es war relativ ruhig. Erste Flüssigkeitsaufnahme am Haslhof. Der Weg ist sehr gut markiert, viel Waldboden, nur abschnittsweise mit weißen Marmorbruchstücken geschotterte Wege. Ab den Kohlplätzen kann man weiter im Wald laufen, man braucht dort nicht auf die von LKW (Abtransport Mamorblöcke) befahrene Forststraße wechseln. Neben dem charakteristischen rot-weiß Markierungen ist der Weg dort auch durch weiße Granitstelen gekennzeichnet, was für ein Luxus ;-) Weite Strecken verlaufen durch den Wald, es gibt aber immer wieder freie Ausblicke ins Tal, zudem quert man einige Bäche. Bis zu den Kohlplätzen eine bequeme Wanderung, so richtig zum Abschalten. Der Anstieg zur Göflaner Alm wurde mit einer wohlschmeckenden Einkehr, sehr freundlichem Personal und einer musikalischen Zugabe vom Akkordeon belohnt. Bewegung, gute Luft und hervorragende Bewirtung - Entspannungs-Wandern pur.

    Schöne kurze Wanderung. Im ersten Teil Rastmöglichkeiten, beim Abstieg nicht mehr. Die Bewertung "leicht" ist wohl nur im Verhältnis zu anderen Bergwanderungen zu sehen - für uns Flachlandtiroler ist es sowohl konditionell (Anstieg) wie technisch (Abstieg) und auch im Hinblick auf Höhenschwindel durchaus nicht "leicht" gewesen....

    Der Waal selbst sehr spektakulär. Man muss drübersteigen, drunterdurchgehen, Treppen hoch und sehr auf seinen Tritt achten, geht es daneben doch ziemlich steil hinab. Schwindelfrei und trittsicher sollte man auf alle Fälle sein. Der Weg zur Kortscher Alm ist dann allerdings sehr eintönig, hier gibts leider nur die Forststraße. Beim Rückweg nicht bis zur Filtriermaschine laufen, sondern bereits vorher links steil nach unten zum Ausgangspunkt.

    Für mich eine Top-Tour. Zur richtigen Jahreszeit führt der Weg durch blühende Alpenrosen. Die Aussicht am Schartl und auf dem Weg zum Kreuzjöchl ist grandios. Leider ist der Weg Nr. 1 vom Kreuzjöchl runter in einem schlechten Zustand (auch noch 2021). So liegen vom Sturm gefällte Bäume quer über den Weg, die großräumig umgangen werden müssen. Der ohnehin schlecht sichtbare Weg ist dann nur sehr schwer wieder zu finden. GPS hilft dabei. Die Steilheit des Weges und viele Steinchen/Stöckchen machen ihn auf dem Weg nach unten schwierig.

    Von Schlanders aus geht es auf einer schmalen Straße ca. 8km hoch hinauf, bis die Straße an der Volksschule endet. Neben der Volksschule gibt ein kleiner Parkplatz > 46°38'47.4"N 10°45'57.2"E Den Einstieg in den Neuwaal haben wir auf Anhieb nicht gleich gefunden. Hier die Koordinaten: 46°38'52.1"N 10°46'06.7"E. Der Weg am Neuwaal ist recht schmal und abenteuerlich. Wer wie ich so schmale Wege gerne mag, ist hier genau richtig. Höhenangst sollte man nicht gerade haben, aber mit Wanderstöcke ist das gar kein Problem. Die Aussicht am Weg entlang ist traumhaft und hat mich an die Levadas auf Madeira erinnert. Am Ende des Waalweges noch ca. 3km weiter bis zur Kortscher Alm, wo es sehr leckeren selbstgemachter Bio Käse gibt.

    Wir haben die Tour etwas verkürzt und den Weg zum See weggelassen. Somit waren wir genau 6 Stunden unterwegs mit einer Stunde Pause auf der Göflaner Alm (sehr zu empfehlen!). Aufstieg entsprechend der empfohlenen Richtung mit einem wunderschönen Ausblick. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen. Ohne den Aufstieg zum See als „Mittel“ einzustufen.
