Our hike begins on the high plateau of Weißenbach at the Hüllweiher near Glatzenstein (starting point of many hikes in the Nürnberger Land). The path first leads us over the high plateau of Weißenbach/Oberkrumbach to the Jura mountain trail, which we follow up to Enzenreuth to the Enzenstein viewing point (magnificent view far into the Nürnberger Land). Afterwards, the trail goes down through the forest (No. 2) to the Rothenberg parking lot and then up to the Rothenberg fortress (currently, the fortress grounds are unfortunately closed except for the moat due to Corona). A short section just below the fortress is the fortress cemetery, a place of silence and reflection. Now we come to the last section of our hike and follow the shady forest path down towards Kersbach... once again out in the open, passing by a pond to Kersbach. From there, we follow the markings according to the plan to Glatzenstein (green dot and -1-).
