Forecast for Lend

10-day forecast
One of the most popular hiking tours in Lend leads to the summit of the Großglockner, the highest mountain in Austria. However, this demanding tour requires stamina and experience in alpine terrain. For families with children, on the other hand, a walk along the idyllic banks of the Salzach or through the picturesque village centre of Lend is more suitable.

The best seasons for hiking in Lend are spring and autumn. In spring, nature awakens to new life and presents itself in its full splendour. In autumn, on the other hand, the colourful foliage of the trees enchants every hiking trail.

There are various places where you can hike wonderfully. The Hohe Tauern National Park, for example, offers a variety of well-marked hiking trails of varying degrees of difficulty. From leisurely walks to challenging summit tours, everything is possible here.

Another highlight for nature lovers is the Rauris Valley, which is only a few kilometres away from Lend. An extensive network of hiking trails stretches here, suitable for beginners as well as experienced hikers. The waterfalls and gorges along the routes are particularly impressive.

In summary, Lend in the Zell am See district in Austria offers a variety of attractive hiking options. From relaxed walks to challenging summit tours, there is something for everyone here. The geographical location with its majestic mountains and green valleys as well as the tourist attractions make Lend an ideal starting point for unforgettable hiking adventures.
