Which mountains are around Rauris?
The municipality of Rauris is located in the centre of the Hohe Tauern National Park. The surrounding mountains belong to the Goldberg and Glockner groups. The striking local mountains of Rauris are the Schwarzwand (2194 m) and the Grubereck (2168 m). In the Hintertal valley, the mountains even extend to over 3000 metres above sea level and the landscape is high alpine.
