With the early harvest we give our wine more acidity and thus a fresh and long-lasting aroma that characterizes our wines.
The label of the wine bottles reflects the origin of the family business, forestry, and the complexity of the wines: the more branches the antlers, the more complex the wine!
In the Southern Palatinate, near the French border, the best wines of the Weber family originate around Oberotterbach. In 1986, the winery was founded and built up part-time by Dieter Weber and his wife Cornelia. From 2012, the two sons Marco (winemaker) and Stefan (viticultural technician) took over the responsibility for the outdoor operation and cellar. Today, the farm covers 12 hectares of nutrient-rich soil, which allows the vines to develop optimally. From the edge of the Haard to the Rhine plain, the Webers cultivate a diverse area of sandstone, limestone, clay and loess loam.
The hobbyhorse of the winery is the Riesling and the Burgundy family. Vinified in barriques and steel tanks, the range includes basic, local and site wines, as well as sparkling wines and secco. The label of the wine bottles reflects the origin of the family business, forestry, and the complexity of the wines: the more branched the antlers, the more complex the wine!
