It is in the heart of Haguenau, in one of the most emblematic buildings in the city, that our first restaurant in the Alsacian tradition was born. Because the Ancienne Douane is above all the meeting between lovers of local cuisine and a unique place steeped in history that inspired our name. Favouring homemade dishes that highlight regional products and Alsacian cuisine, we prepare all our recipes using fresh and local ingredients. In the kitchen, the chef and his team take the time to prepare gourmet and generous specialities and offer you, every day, new taste discoveries with market suggestions. In the dining room, our team welcomes you in a setting that revisits the usual codes of Alsacian breweries while remaining authentic and full of charm. We offer you homemade tartes flambées (alsacian dish), homemade beers, and many Alsacian specialities.
