Der Gocklwirt am Simssee ist eine bekannte Institution in der Region. Eine ausgezeichnete Gastronomie lädt Ausflugsgäste, Radfahrer und Spaziergänger gleichermaßen ein. Eine ungewöhnliche Antiquitätenausstellung im Freibereich lässt die Herzen aller Fans von alten landwirtschaftlichen Maschinen und Geräten höher schlagen, ebenso sind alte Dampfmaschinen zu sehen. Im Inneren des kleinteiligen Restaurants mit vielen detailreich dekorierten Stuben befindet sich die größte Kunstuhr der Welt.
