A 20 km long but comfortable bike ride that always invites you to a refreshing dip in cool water. Relaxation in between is guaranteed on one of the many benches with a magnificent view of the breathtaking mountain scenery and the idyllic Simssee. You can refuel with good Bavarian cuisine and fresh fish at the lake inns and kiosks along the shore or in the charming villages of the foothill landscape. The Simssee covers almost 7 square kilometers and is thus the largest lake in the Rosenheim district, also called the little brother of Chiemsee. The southern shore has been under nature protection since 1963.

Safety information
- Always check the lighting system, brakes, tires, and reflectors of your bike before starting!
- Wear bright, reflective clothing in poor visibility (dusk, darkness, fog, etc.). Alternatively: vest or ankle bands with reflective stripes.
- Especially in autumn and winter, fallen leaves on the ground can hide possible unevenness, roots, stones, or holes in the path.
- Attach tall bike flags to your children's bikes so even the smallest riders are well seen in traffic.
