Im Naherholungsgebiet am Rande der Kreisstadt Birkenfeld unterhält der Angelsportverein "Fischwaid" zwei Angelgewässer in idyllischer Lage.
Die beiden Weiher, Badeweiher und Sielbachweiher, haben eine unbelastete Wasserqualität. Gastangler können in der Vereinsgaststätte einen Tagesschein für den Badeweiher erwerben und dort ihre Fertigkeiten unter beweis stellen. Direkt am nahe gelegenen Badeweiher lädt das Vereinsheim des ASV Fischwaid die Gäste aus Nah und Fern zum Verweilen ein. Die Gaststätte ist ganzjährig geöffnet und mit ihrer großen überdachten Grillstelle auch bestens geeignet für die Durchführungen von Familienfesten wie z.B. Geburtstagen.
