Trotzdem das Parapluiwandl eine herrliche, sonnige Lage aufweist - diese erlaubt das Klettern auch an sonnigen Wintertagen - steht die Wand doch im Schatten des benachbarten "Scheiblingkirchner Wandls". Die Routen sind im Hauptbereich sind eher großgriffig und athletisch, im rechten Wandbereich eher kleingriffig. Die Routennamen sind großteils angeschrieben.

Siehe auch "Scheiblingkirchner Wandl". Von dort, wo der Weg linkshaltend zum Scheiblingkirchner Wandl abzweigt noch ca 100m am guten Weg weiter und dann linkshaltend, steil auf schmalem Weg (zum Schluss eine Steilstufe) zum Einstiegsplateau.
