Approach
**From Aelpli valley**: 4 to 5 hours walk.
**From Saentis Bahn** (Stuetze 2!): 1 hour to 1.5 hour walk. Mostly down. Note: you must ask the Bahn operator to sstop at Stuetze 2. Also, this stop is only serviced every 30 min (on the hour and half, so 0730, 0800, 0830 etc.)
**Access**: from the South west side. Walk down between Kluckerplatte and Silberplatte. Then leave the path in the scree (or bottom of scree) to reach the bottom of Kluckerplatte (if you are going down, you basically turn left). You can either leave early on the scree (and stick to bottom of main slab), or walk further down (easier terrain), and follow left at the bottom of the Klettergarten area.
**Note**: it is possible to leave the path in the main scree higher to stick to the bottom of the main slab. However, as you go down on the last bit to Kluckerplatte, be *very careful*, there is a 15/20 m hole right in front of the path - you do not want to fall in there! (this is next to the start of a Halbi Portion Appenzeller).
