Get there by train, car, bike, or on foot!
Approach
It takes a 30-40 minutes walk from the train station in Füssen, or a 20-30 minutes walk from the car-park (GPS: 47.5619, 10.7262) which is located close to the Schwansee.
From the car-park at the Schwansee, take the path next to the lake and after passing the lake keep on walking uphill. After 15-20 minutes you will see the Untere Schwanenseeplatte to your right, after 5 minutes more uphill on the path you see the Obere Schwanseeplatte through the forest to your right.
Alternative: from the car-part at Lechfall (mostly very crowded on weekends), follow the hiking-path next to the restaurant "Steak House" uphill. Stay on the concrete road and follow the big curve to the right. After 10 minutes you see the Ziegelwies to your left. Continue for another 5 Minutes to reach Obere Schwanseeplatte
