A giant, overhanging south face with a striking prow (the "nose") directly above the hiking path. Three more or less alpine classics ("Alter Weg", "Dieter Dörrer Gedenkweg", "Knüppelweg") are accompanied by two (very rarely repeated) aid climbs through the left part of the wall and quite a few recent sport climbs established by Stefan Löw. Do not be fooled by the word "sport", though. Expect serious choss in the lower part of the wall. The rock quality gets better in the middle, but wearing a helmet is an absolute necessity here for both climber and belayer.
