History
Am Kornberg fehlen die imposanten Felstürme und Blockmeere, wie man sie von anderen Berggipfeln des Fichtelgebirges gewohnt ist. Jedoch besitzt der Nebengipfel Hirschstein viele steile, teilweise senkrecht abfallende Felstürme, dort befand sich die nur noch in spärlichen Resten erhaltene mittelalterliche Burg gleichen Namens.
