There are several nice climbing spots inside the beatiful old fortress dating back to 15th century. Most routes are top rope or trad and usually very short. A nice place to relax with som laidbak climbing on a sunny day.

The fortress have seen its share of battles with Sweden over a 300 year period. It was never taken and the most epic battles was in 1716 when the citizens burned their own town to stop the swedish troops and their king Carl Gustav XII. He obviously didnt learn his lesson and two years later he was back again with an even mightier army. This time we put a bullet thru his head, stopping him for good. ;)
