ABDET CLIMBING UPDATES 2026
Most routes on Jabali Sector and Flare Sector have been cleaned and given new lower-offs in better positions and with two separate rings on chains for a smooth rope run. Most of the routes are named with nice little aluminium name tags!

The new Arcoiris Sector is proving popular and has routes of 4,5 and 6 on a buttress to the right of the Jabali sector. The routes are colour coded so easy to follow and locate!
On the main crag most of the routes from Almendro Pinnacle to Flare Corner have been cleaned/rebolted. Some of the routes such as San Miguel now have almost double the number of bolts and so are far less serious a proposition. Cerdo and Jingebre have had a lot of cleaning and more bolts making them much more enjoyable. The three "big" routes on the Almendra pinnacle, La Atracción, Via Almendra, and Solo en Espacio are now a great proposition with new lower offs, vegetation removed and extra bolts.
On Abdet Pillar there is a great new two pitch grade 5 - Camino Celestial. Vista de Barranco de Abdet has more bolts and a new belay and the approach has been gardened!
