Dieser Felsen befindet sich umgeben von hohen Fichten in der Westflanke des Töpferberges. Gut geschützt durch den nördlichen Hang ist es hier oft kühler und schattiger. Die Kamine des Felsens eignen sich sehr gut für heiße Sommertage. Der Felsen ist selten begangen und meist stehen die Chancen gut, auch im warmen Frühjahr noch Jahreserster zu sein.
