History
* there's already been routes set in the 90s (_'Kletterführer Grazer Bergland'_, 1998) * the local Alpine Club renovated and [cleaned some routes](https://www.alpenverein.at/graz/home/topnews/2011/2011_11_12_klettergarten_gaisberg.php) in 2011, supported by the City of Graz [(newspaper article, paywall)](https://www.kleinezeitung.at/steiermark/graz/4303393/Graz-bekommt-einen-Kletterpark-am-Plabutsch) * in 2012 a rockslide took place, some blocs [2x2x2m in size](https://climbing.plus/forum/klettergarten-gaisberg-in-graz-nach-felssturz-gesperrt/likes) -- for security reasons the cliff was [closed for climbing](https://www.alpenverein.at/graz/home/topnews/2012/2012_07_28_gaisberg.php) * in 2015 the [City of Graz had attempts](https://www.krone.at/463355) to obtain geological expert advice and revitalise the cliff for climbing again; at some point those attempts got stock * as of 2019 the cliff is still closedCoordinates
