Bikepacking routes in Nesselwang

After leaving hill after hill behind us, the imposing mountain range now grows: the landscape of the peak worlds. In between, you pass through the landscape of beautiful views with the panorama lodges, which free mind and soul for new paths and experiences.

The long-distance cycling route winds scenically in a west-east direction through the northern foothills of the Alps.

The Schlosspark bike route in the Allgäu is a quality cycling route with a length of about 221 km. The fifth section runs from Nesselwang back to Füssen, passing by viewing points of the highest quality.

The Bodensee-Königssee cycle route, a total of 410 km long, leads from the picturesque Lindau on Lake Constance through the Bavarian Alpine foothills to the impressive Königssee near Berchtesgaden. Along the way, we pass through the entire German Alpine foothills region, with rich cultural landscape and breathtaking panoramas.

Wertach erleben puts the focus on the nature experience and therefore prefers natural path surfaces.

Along the Wertach, from the source near Oberjoch to the mouth near Augsburg, various "Wertach experiences" await cyclists. Continuous signage along with information boards on the river's history, flora, and fauna make the bike path an exciting journey of discovery. From Oberjoch, it goes 144 kilometers via Nesselwang, past Marktoberdorf and Kaufbeuren into the Unterallgäu region to Bad Wörishofen, Türkheim, and Ettringen, and finally to Augsburg, always along the Wertach.

4th Day Stage Haslach --> Bannwaldsee Campsite Each stage ends at a youth hostel or campsite. The stage starts at Haslach Campsite and leads to the campsite at Bannwaldsee (behind Schwangau). This stage passes by Neuschwanstein Castle.

The goal is to cycle around Germany and finally ride along the inner-German border. This is the stage from Schwangau to Unterjoch.
