This long-distance bike tour leads from my home region Reutlingen along the Neckartalradweg up the Neckar to its source, across to the Brigach (approx. 2 km) and to Donaueschingen. From there it continues down the Danube along the Donauradweg.
So far, I have reached Budapest in individual stages. I plan to continue this bike trip. An update will then be made.

General information:
A long-distance bike route running through Germany from south to north, designed specifically for (e-)MTB or e-tour bikes, divided into easily manageable daily stages. The route is characterized by a unique, very natural and scenically particularly attractive alignment and a very low proportion of country roads (also little next to or parallel to a road as is often the case elsewhere); furthermore, it is very varied (river bike path sections, valley bike paths, ridge trails, ascents and descents, views, forests and open terrain); in every start/finish town there are accommodation and shopping facilities (few exceptions very nearby); exclusively wide, easy to ride paths (mainly asphalt and gravel); the route partly follows signposted bike path sections, partly (still) unmarked paths.
Please note: stages vary in difficulty. On a few stages there are no refreshment options in between.
More stages will follow in the next years!
