This unique cycle tour takes us through the Danube Gorge, characterised by white rock cliffs, which combines the impressions of weathered Weissjura walls, forested hills and the gently meandering river. A natural relief that has earned the magnificent route the nickname "Swabian Grand Canyon".

Varied e-bike route on well-developed and marked bike paths. We start in Nusplingen and cycle through the idyllic and quite remote Bära Valley to Fridingen. From there, it goes along the Danube Cycle Path through the unique landscape of the Upper Danube Valley. The views of Bronnen Castle, Jägerhaus Inn, Beuron Monastery, Wildenstein Castle, and Werenwag Castle shape this scenic route, which is easy except for the roughly 4 km long climb to Werenwag Castle. The return route over the agriculturally used "Großer Heuberg" shows how contrasting this region is.

Very different landscapes await us on this stage of the Danube cycle route. At first, the Danube valley is still narrow and deeply cut. From Sigmaringen it then becomes wide and flatter. From Hausen, it goes via Sigmaringen and Riedlingen to the Blank Brewery in Zwiefaltendorf.

Challenging circular route through the idyllic Schmeien valley. These 25 km are rarely frequented and very well signposted except for the Kaiseringen/Storzingen section. Another 15 km through the picturesque Danube valley with its impressive rock formations. Afterwards, it goes lonely but still well signposted 25 km over the large Heuberg back to Albstadt. Always on cycle or forest paths, only a few kilometers along or on roads. For me, one of the most beautiful circular routes on the Swabian Alb.
