Accessible holidays in Mittenwald

Wheelchair tour with strong drive (Swiss Trac). Broad gravel hiking trail, easy to roll on. In places short slight inclines. Descents on gravel are rather difficult with light drive, but no problem with Swiss Trac. Finally, on the asphalt road, steep descent up to about 15%.

Circular route with a magnificent view of the Wetterstein mountains through stunning nature. A paradise for nature lovers. 35 different species of orchids, countless rare butterflies and insects. Wet and dry meadows. Suitable as a toboggan run in winter.

Challenging bike route to Wettersteinalm and Schachen.

Nice walk near the village, 1.5 hours, around the reservoir with the opportunity to observe numerous water bird species. Easy to do with a stroller even in changeable weather.  

Approx. 2.5-hour hike over the Buckelwiesen to Mittenwald with beautiful panoramic views of the Wetterstein massif and opportunities for refreshments. Recommended even in changeable weather.
