Water & Wind in Saimaa

Take a ride on Rib Saimaa to explore the interesting canal site of General Suvorov in a pleasant and safe way. During the route description guests will hear about the Gustav War and the construction of the Suvorov Canals. Route descriptions are available in Finnish, English and Russian.   Route: Puumala harbor - Ummistonvesi - Via Ristivesi - Kukonharju so-called war canal - Puumala harbor   Departures from the Puumala harbor on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 July to 14 August 2022 at 12, 15 and 18.

The cruise explores the war canals built by the Russian war general Alexander Suvorov in the late 18th century. The cruise departs from Puumala Harbor. The boat travels to the Kukonharju and Käyhkää canals.   On the Rib Saimaa cruise you can get acquainted with the interesting Suvorov war canals with route descriptions!   Charter cruise from Puumala harbor on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 July to 14 August 2022. Valkialampi is a calm lake sheltered by the ridge. Take a ride on Rib Saimaa to explore the Salpa Fortress built on the island of Kongonsaari during the armistice!   The trip includes a demonstration of Salpa station and coffee / tea serving in the cave of the Kongonsaari Island in the army way.
