A wonderful picnic lunch from Hotel Punkaharju will be provided for you on your secret rowing trip and comes with reading material: the story of a romantic rowing trip that took place in Punkaharju in the early 20th century, which inspired us to create this experience for you, the 21st century holidaymaker.
A wonderful picnic lunch will be provided for you on your secret rowing trip on Lake Valkialampi. Hotel Punkaharju’s kitchen has planned a special rowing menu, which will be packed for you in beautiful tiffin carriers. The meal also comes with something to read: the story of a romantic rowing trip that took place in Punkaharju in the early 20th century, which inspired us to create this experience for you, the 21st century holidaymaker.
The rowing picnic is available when the lake is free of ice, between May and October. You can choose the time for your trip, but please book before 18:00 the night before so that our kitchen has time to prepare your meal for you.
You need to have basic rowing skills for the trip. Please dress for the weather. The hotel reception will provide you with detailed instructions, a map, life jackets and your packed meal.
Duration: max. 4 hours.
The price includes: rowing boat rental, the hotel’s fabulous meal for two, 2 water bottles, as well as life jackets, a map and instructions for using and locking the rowing boat.
The price does not include insurance.

Terms
The rowing picnic needs to be booked at the hotel reception no later than 18:00 on the night before the trip. The trip needs to be paid in full by 18:00 on the night before the trip, after which the kitchen will prepare your meal. Please notify the reception of any allergies and dietary requirements when you book the trip. Once the kitchen has prepared your meal, the payment cannot be refunded.
