1929 gab es bei Kanalbauten auf dem Zülpicher Mühlenberg eine Überraschung. Man stieß auf eine alte römische Therme, welche in den darauf folgenden Jahren immer weiter von Archäologen freigelegt wurde. Heute gilt sie als besterhaltene römische Thermenanlage ihrer Art nördlich der Alpen.

Here they can breed in peace and raise their young. From the Bird Watching Station at the Urft Dam, the birdlife can be excellently observed. Two high-quality telescopes are available for this purpose.
