Toroczkói-havasok

Part of the Apuseni Mountains, the Trascău Mountains rise  in the northwest of Alba Iulia city, from which they are separated by a few kilometers. With a fascinating landscape diversity, the hiking trails in the Trascău Mountains take the traveler to lofty plateaus, spectacular valleys, gorges, and unique rock formations. Many trails in the Trascău Mountains can be explored on foot or by bicycle; access is available from several localities, with popular hikes from Rimetea or Râmeț. The Râmeț Gorges or the rocks at Rimetea are reserved for passionate climbers,  while paragliders launch on windy days from Piatra Secuiului.
