Colțul Corbului is a spectacular lookout point located above the Borzești Gorges, offering stunning views of the Valea Arieșului – an ideal place for family hikers and nature enthusiasts.

The trails to Colțul Corbului start near Cabana Buru or upstream from the Borzești Gorge and cross cool beech and hornbeam forests, in a setting that seems to be taken from a fairy tale.

The Borzești Gorge is unique in the Apuseni Mountains, having been carved by water in both directions – initially towards the Borzești Depression, and then towards the Aries River. This wild setting is home to a rich biodiversity, with numerous species of birds and mammals.

From the rock called Colțul Corbului, an impressive panorama opens up over the Aries Valley.

The trails are marked (blue stripe / red triangle) and accessible with appropriate equipment.

Respect for nature is essential for preserving the authentic beauty of this special place.
