    schöne Tour, würde sie nur auf 2-3 Tage verkürzen und max 1-2 Hüttennächte machen. Sonst ist man als fitter Bergsteiger immer schon um die Mittagszeit an den Hütten. Die Strecke zwischen Susanfe und Salanfe ist super schön, dahingegen meine vorletzte Etappe Salafe bis Auberge de Chindonne eher weniger schön. Gipfel der Haute Cime unbedingt mitnehmen! Auch wenn bei uns die Bedigungen eher schwierig waren (sehr ausgesetzt, vereist und teilweise weglos, auch viel Kletterei, die T4 ist keine Übertreibung). Ich würde eventuell anstatt Susanfe oder Salanfe eine Hüttennacht im Refuge des Dents-du-midi empfehlen; die Aussicht vom Refuge auf die Dents und den Gletscher ist einmalig und es ist eine süße kleine Hütte mit sehr lieben Hüttenwirten.

    The huts are listed under "Information and Links".
    The Tour des Dents du Midi can be done from June to October, depending on the snow conditions.
    September is a very good hiking time.
    Yes, a reservation is always recommended when staying at a cabin.
    A hut sleeping bag is also recommended

    Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswerte Tour! Phänomenales Panorama, sehr gute Wege, abwechslungsreich, schöne Hütten,... Ich würde aber eine Änderung bei den Etappen vorschlagen: Die erste, dritte und letzte Etappe sind sehr kurz. Bei der ersten und letzten ist das wegen An- und Abreise gar kein Problem, aber die dritte Etappe haben wir verlängert und uns schlussendlich die letzte Etappe gespart. Vorschlag: Die dritte Etappe verlängern bis Chindonne und am nächsten Tag bis Grand Paradis absteigen. War so für uns ohne Probleme machbar. Je nachdem, ob die halbe erste Etappe einem besser am Anfang oder am Ende passt, kann man die Tour auch sehr gut umgekehrt laufen.
