This also fully applies to our destination: a high starting point, a long scenic ridge path high above steep alpine pastures and sharply cut cirques, and at the end an outstanding summit point – this is the tour to Dent de Valère! The path is completely easy to walk until just below the summit, only the last section becomes a bit more alpine. The trail should be reasonably dry and especially free of snow or even ice residues in this area – otherwise there is a detour via the last part of the suggested descent route.
